This is a 1951 featherweight that just missed, for some reason, being a centennial. The decals are good except for a small area on the right front where the hand would rest. That part is just slightly worn. You have to tilt the machine to see it, the paint is getting just slightly that crackled look. Nothing goes all the way through the paint but it is there.
Included with the machine is the case, type 2 with the tray all the way across the top, which is in very good condition, the bobbin case, of course, and 6 bobbins. There is a set of the original 6 attachments without the green box. Attachments are the ruffler, a binder, a narrow hemmer, a wide hemmer, a gatherer foot, an edge stitcher and also a zipper foot.
The original foot pedal is there with new cords and plug in order to make it safe. This machine would be great to have for using everyday or for carrying to your quilting or craft classes.
